Services We Provide
Pre-Fabrication of Pipework Off-Site
From our factory, which is located in Kent, we are able to pre-fabricate pipework as per the client’s drawings and specification, then deliver to site.
To start the off-site pre-fabrication, we firstly receive your drawings, which are turned into isometric projections by our engineers in the office.
The isometric projections are then given to our welders, who then pre-fabricate our pipework. The welders have passed both Class I and II tests, and their certificates are available for your perusal and will be left on site before the contract starts. Each section of pipework is stamped and a welding register is issued. We ensure that all welds are stamped and marked.
Each length of pipework will then be finished/painted as per the specification, then numbered so the site operatives are aware of the position of each pre-fabricated section. At this point, the pipework is checked by our quality assurance team, to assure works are in accordance with your demands.
The sections are then loaded onto our lorry, with the isometric projections and drawings issued, and then delivered to site. We will arrange with yourselves a suitable time in which we can deliver according to cranage time and delivery slots.
Our on-site fitting team can install the pipework on site or they can be given to your fitters to install. We are able to give your fitters the information that is needed to install the pipework correctly, by use of isometric projections and as made drawings.
Our team will process all pipework within the deadline and much in the same way as the welded pipework.
With our sound knowledge of boiler houses; chiller plant and mains water services, we are able to spot unforeseen problems, and produce the pipework, with minimal amount of welding to be done on site.
If the pipework changes for any reason, we can provide a welder on site to deal with minimal amounts of changes, or the pipework can be taken off site, depending on the importance and the amount of changes. We can then give this our utmost priority, to ensure a quick turnaround.
We have recently started to pre-fabricate screwed pipework at our factory to allow even quicker turnover of all pipe work and valve sets.
We still have the site based staff on most contracts, but have found that pipework can be made quicker at our factory, without the other trade delays being a problem.
This also allows us ample time to make pipework with smaller numbers of staff, due to the fact that we have a longer lead in time.

Weld Inspector then conducts tests on specified welds in order supply us with NDT Report
Once all necessary welds have tested then the ‘Finishing Process’ begins
Prefabricated pipework must be painted and prepared for next delivery to the Projects sites
Transport will then deliver all pipework to site for installation
